It was announced earlier last month my director Jake C. Young, the newest film titled Souls Chapel would premiere at the historic Virginia theater in downtown Somerset Kentucky. Souls Chapel is a part of the premier lineup for the Black Mountain Film festival hosted by Black Mountain Studios. The festival will include lineups of many other films and Q&A panels with industry insight. Souls Chapel is set to make it's first premier to the public at the Virginia Theater at The BMFF. Souls chapel is based on real life location "Soules Chapel" located in the Somerset Kentucky area. When asked about the premier, the director, Jake C. Young had this to say:
“I was asked when the movie would play… So I figured what better place than in its hometown. Thanks to Josh and the Black Mountain crew, I finally have a chance to show the film at a venue I’ve been trying to get for a couple of years now. I’m looking forward to a great turnout meeting, lots of new folks."
Souls Chapel is scheduled to screen during the festivals block party on Saturday, November 8th at 2 PM. The block party will be open to the public, screenings will require tickets for the entry, which can be found on Eventbrite. For more information check out the full schedule below.
