He’s an actor, a director, and a cowboy and his name is Jake C. Young. Jake is a filmmaker from Southern Kentucky in the Lake Cumberland area. He has not only directed but starred in over 8 independent film such as The Dark Room, Daylight to Dark, and most recently, Souls Chapel. This summer Jake has journeyed the southern hemisphere is the United States attending conventions for his films. Jake attended the Legendary Brix Con Danville KY along side Megan Chelf Fisher and Comedian Eddie Deezan. Most recently he attended Charlie’s Summerfest in Fort Meyers Florida next to John Fiore from the hit television show, “The Sopranos”.

Jake C. Young is sometimes referred to as “Jake Eastwood” as a stage name that was inspired by Hollywood filmmakers, Clint Eastwood. Jake's lineage indicates that he is a very distant cousin of the legendary actor/ director Clint Eastwood. Young shares an ancestral connection with Clint’s Great Grandmother, Emma Young who married into the Eastwood Family. Jake was says he was "supried" to learn this through a genealogical research site, that his family line appeared to connect with Clint’s ancestry through the Young family that goes back several generations.

"It’s a distant connection that dates back, we discovered on a Family search website." Jake said. 

He went on to say: "I always knew I kinda looked like him but It's a distant connection, that was discovered by accident. --let me go on the record and say, I've never claimed that Clint has personally endorsed my work or involvement in anyway, but he seems like a great person and I love his work! I'd love the opportunity to sit down with him and just talk about his experience in films"

Young is well known for his western style attraction as well as is precise style of filmmaking. His notable works include the Dark Room, Daylight To Dark, and most recently his film about true Kentucky legend titled Souls Chapel.
